Locating power-quality event source through disturbance measures

To improve the accuracy of the power quality disturbance source location, overcoming the lack of the previous expression of disturbance direction, the paper quote the concept of disturbance measure, expressing the disturbance direction not only through the direction but also through the quantity. Firstly, quantify the disturbance direction using the basic credit assignment function. Then disturbance power and disturbance energy are integrated with membership functions to obtain the column vector of disturbance direction measure, receiving the final result combined with the coverage matrix. The method simulates in Digital Dynamic Real-Time Simulator (DDRTS) and the experiment test results indicate that this method can improve the availability and accuracy of the disturbance source location.
