Symbol mapping method for repetition channel coding

A symbol mapping method for a repetition channel coding is provided to improve reliability in a receiving terminal maximally by mapping a codeword bit to a subcarrier to reduce the number of bits with low reliability when using the repetition coding in a transmitting terminal. A code word interleaved to an interleaver is repetitively coded(540). A channel symbol is generated by performing a channel symbol modulation to each bit of the code word(550). The symbols of the code word which is repetitively coded is mapped to the different resource block. If a part of symbols of the repetitively coded code word are positioned in the same resource block, the interval of the sub carrier between the same symbols is mapped to the maximum. Before the repetitive coding, the symbols of the interleaved code word are generated by channel-symbol-modulating the interleaved code word. An OFDM symbol is generated by mapping the channel symbol to an OFDM symbol(580).
