Road speed colour coding and traffic speed control : an applied psychology approach
暂无分享,去创建一个
Traffic accidents and appropriate road traffic speeds are statistically interrelated subjects. Traffic speed control, thus safer roads, is in part a matter of effectively transmitting information to drivers. Colour coding delivers visual information that is more easily assimilated than words or numbers. Existing roads can rapidly and at relatively low cost be made partly 'self-explaining' through speed colour coding. Transmitting traffic speed limit information by way of colour coding also psychologically conditions the driver to subconsciously obey the implied traffic rule.
