Combo type a circuit breaker and method thereof

PURPOSE: A combined circuit breaker and a breaking method thereof are provided to sense an electrical hazard in real time using an embedded controller. CONSTITUTION: A CT(Current Transformer)(40) and a ZCT(Zero Current Transformer)(30) are installed between an external voltage input line and a load terminal. An arc detector(50) detects an arc fault from the CT. A plurality of overload detectors(60A,60B) detects an overload from the CT. An electric leakage detector detects an electric leakage from the ZCT. A microprocessor(80) generates a trip signal for blocking power when the overload, the electric leakage, and the arc are detected. A blocking unit(10) blocks power according to the trip signal of the microprocessor.
