A novel selective repeat stop-wait ARQ for half-duplex channels

ARQ (automatic-repeat-request) protocols are used in communication applications to ensure reliable delivery of packetized data in the correct sequence. We present a novel SW-ARQ scheme which adopt the idea of selective repeat and variable DLC packet size frame according to the channel status. Both theoretical analysis and simulation result prove that the proposed SW-ARQ shows good performance as compared to normal SW-ARQ.
