Instrumentation to study the force systems and vertical dynamic behaviour of soil-engaging implements

Abstract Design considerations and solutions for systems to measure the forces, displacements and angular position of soil-engaging implements where variations in both soil shear strength and surface elevation occur are described. Specific reference is made to both mole and trenchless drainage ploughs.
