Satellite Attitude Estimation Based on Improved Model of the Gyro Random Drift

The attitude measurement system with gyro of three-axis stabilized satellite needs modeling the gyro random drift.According to the problem that attitude determination with the white noise gyro random drift would make the estimate error curve of the gyro random drift non-smooth,thus make the estimate error curve of attitude and attitude rate non-smooth,two improved models of the gyro random drift were presented and studied.The theoretical and simulation analysis indicates that the improved models can reduce effectively the stabilization estimate error of the gyro random drift,and improve the estimate accuracy of attitude and attitude rate.Simulation results verify the correctness of the proposed method.
