COMPARISON OF 0.05% CLOBETASOL PROPIONATE CREAM AND TOPICAL PUVASOL IN CHILDHOOD VITILIGO

Patients and Methods Fifty clinically diagnosed vitiligo patients under 12 years of age from the outpatient clinic of the Department of Dermatology, Mayo Hospital, Lahore, were included in this study. Patients with segmental or mucosal vitiligo, or vitiligo involving more than 20% of the cutaneous surface were excluded. All clinical details were recorded on a specially devised form. Chi-square tests were used for statistical analysis. The patients were randomly assigned to one of the two groups and treatment was continued until 6 months had elapsed or repigmentation was complete.
