Method for generating 3d video computer generated hologram using look-up table and temporal redundancy, and apparatus thereof

PURPOSE: A method for generating a 3D video computer generated hologram using a look-up table and temporal redundancy, and an apparatus thereof are provided to reduce the complexity in hologram calculation by generating a hologram through the use of time duplication. CONSTITUTION: An extraction unit(210) extracts brightness image and depth image from a target frame of a three-dimensional video, and a comparison unit(220) extracts a change point through the comparison of the bright image and the depth image of a target frame with those of a previous frame. A hologram calculation unit(230) calculates hologram information, and the target frame is the criteria of an image to be created in a current point. The previous frame is the frame prior to the target frame.
