Simulation Study of Mine Hoist Based on PID Controller

The mine hoist dynamics equations was derived .To improve stability and comfort of mine hoist,PID controller was applied into control unit. The simulation model has been established by using AMESim soft combine with Simulink. Run the simulation model after setting parameters properly . Car position–time charts were given at different system gain and PID control system with dead band filter. The simulation results show that the hoist performance become better than without PID controller, and the comfort and stability have been improved obviously.
