Corporate Wikis: A Comparative Analysis of Structures and Dynamics

Despite the popularity of public (e. g., Wikipedia) and corporate wikis (e. g., Bluepedia; cf. Due08), there is very little empirical research on the latter (for notable exceptions, see AB08). On the one hand, this is due to the fact that organizations are generally reluctant to foreclose unstructured data which may contain any information, from cafeteria opening hours to next-generation products. On the other hand, there are no established measures and methods for wiki evaluation which allow for a cross comparision of wikis data.
