Liquid waste factory producer of palm as biogas for renewable energy

At the present time Indonesia is in crisis of electrical power energy especially in the province of Aceh. Lack of energy electricity are important to make a breakthrough new anticipated by looking for an alternative sources of electrical power that can be renewed , One of renewable energy resources that have not been frequently utilized is palm oil mill liquid, this source is potential to be converted into biogas. Biogas has huge potential in providing electrical power which 1 m3 of biogas is equal to 3 kWh electricity. Plant waste oil palm which now this reach thousands of tons. The current estimated amount of waste oil palm Mills in Indonesia reached approximately 28.7 million tons of liquid waste/year and 15.2 million tons of solid waste / year. From those waste, about 90 million m3 biogas can be generated. This amount equivalent to 187.5 billion tons of 3-kg LPG. The number of biogas is sufficient to meet the needs of gas for one billion head families) for one year. Therefore the focus of this activity makes use of oil palm waste as a source of electrical energy. Therefore the focus of this paper is utilization of oil palm waste as a source for biogas production for electricity, study of literature, reverse engineering and application of direct approaches, while stages that will be done is design of biogas and air mixing channels, designing unit typical analysis for digester, testing on the generator to generate electricity. From these activities have produced petrol genset conversion into biogas generator for a capacity of 2500 watt, Unit of typical analysis for digester with a capacity of 9000 litres and a laboratory for testing of biogas with the parameter being tested is the temperature, pressure, PH and the production of Biogas. As well as biogas energy generated 10 KW, 2500 kW biogas Generator (genset gasoline conversion results).
