On some gross misunderstandings about the theory of topological molecular lattices

Abstract Some gross misunderstandings have arisen since the theory of topological molecular lattices (briefly, TMLs) was presented (Wang, 1989, 1992). Certain scholars think that there is a correspondence between TMLs and classical spaces and they could obtain the results in the theory of TMLs (hence fuzzy topology) by simply translating the corresponding results in classical topology. The aim of this paper is to clear out such misunderstandings.
