PENERAPAN METODE KANO UNTUK PENINGKATAN MUTU PRODUK SARUNG TANGAN KARET

The quality of rubber gloves is very important because it affects the prevention of germs or bacteria. Therefore, rubber gloves should be hygienic because as a self-protection from disease caused by bacteria and germs. PT.Shamrock Manufacturing Corpora find any complaints on product quality latex gloves, so necessary action to meet customer satisfaction with product quality latex gloves. In this research, improvement of product quality rubber gloves with Kano method, which is to categorize the attributes of a product based on how well the product is able to satisfy the consumer. Type of study is a survey research (survay research). Aiming to get the actual facts regarding the satisfaction of the use of latex gloves by medical personnel through open and close questionnaire. The number of samples of open questionnaire is 30 respondents and close questionnaire 130 respondents with the population of nurses in the medical workforce Dr.Pirngadi Hospital Medan. The results of the study showed that the method produces Kano 1 categorized attractive attributes is another criterion of rubber gloves more durable and more elastic. So companies should improve these attributes in order to improve the quality of the product.
