Application Study of Neural Network in Electrical Discharge Machining Engineering Ceramics

In order to solve the issue of difficult establishment of mathematical model between process parameters and surface quality of engineering ceramics by electrical discharge machining,introducing artificial neural network into EDM is proposed and a prediction model that surface roughness of engineering ceramics with EDM changes in accordance with process parameters is built.Study result shows,applying this model can predict the surface roughness in given conditions precisely with small relative error which proves the reliability of the model.
