Power System Dynamics

This chapter describes the linear and nonlinear models of the power plant, and the basic parts and the operation of generators are also described. The dynamic responses of the hydraulic and guide vanes are discussed. Advances in primary speed/load control of hydroelectric plant are discussed, and the development of the turbine-generator control is reviewed.
