Method and system for implementing NAT (Network Address Translator) traversal by FCC (Fast Channel Change) system

The invention discloses a method and a system for implementing NAT (Network Address Translator) traversal by a FCC (Fast Channel Change) system. According to the method and the system, by increasing information for NAT traversal processing, which is carried in a channel change request and a response message, in the channel change request and the response message, a FCC (Fast Channel Change) server can judge and notify a terminal to start a NAT traversal flow, so that the FCC server and the terminal directly implement traversal of a change signaling and a change bit stream by NAT equipment and the fast change of channels is implemented. According to the method and the system which are disclosed by the invention, after the NAT equipment exists in the user terminal or the FCC server, the user terminal can still be ensured to conveniently and rapidly establish connection with a FCC unit to successfully receive the media bit stream, so that the fast change of the channels is implemented.
