Reliability Design of Wall Thickness of Compressed Pipe in Plant

Aiming at the Shortage of the safety coefficient method on the design of the wall thickness of the compressed pipe,its model of reliability was established between the stress and strength,a design method was proposed for the wall thickness of the compressed pipe,and its designing formula of reliability was derived.Taken a power plant for example,the wall thickness of the main steam pipe was designed,the use of the formula was demonstrated,and the relationship of wall pressure and reliability with thickness was analyzed.The method provides a security and economy theoretical basis for the design of the pipe.
