Simulation and Application Study Based on Two NLMS Self-Adaptation Filter

The recovery of a signal from observed noisy data is a classical problem in signal processing. According to the principle of the adaptive line enhancer, a kind of noise reduction model and method based on two NLMS self-adaptive filter was proposed. Its efficiency was tested by the simulation data and the recognition experiments of radiated noises of ships in real sea. The simulation results show that it is superior to the basic NLMS method in noise reduction. And the recognition experiments of radiated noises of ships show that the good recognition probability can be ensured using this method when the recognition environment changes. It is more adaptive to the environment changes than the basic NLMS method.
