Experiments With A Predictive Display And Shared Compliant Control For Time-delayed Teleoperation

An advanced force-reflecting telemanipulation system has been evolved with additional features of predictive displays and shared compliant control. Experiments per- formed with these two new features indicate that human telemanipulation task performance increases significantly with predictive displays and shared compliant control for time-delayed telemanipulation.
