ITER-Like Antenna electrical performance

The future integration on Tore Supra (TS) of the new Ion Cyclotron Heating (ICRH) ITER‐like prototype antenna will be performed to achieve the final validation within plasma conditions. Along the few years of developments and electrical optimizations, this antenna went through series of thermo/mechanical and electrical tests. This paper presents the latest electrical results of the ITER Like antenna under vacuum condition inside the test bed. High RF power (60 kW) for 2 seconds pulses were performed, the paper present the first electrical performance results and focused on the experimental measurements of the current monitoring compared to electrical simulations.
