Analysis of Three-phase Matrix Converter Based on Space Vector Modulation

Design and implementation of the space vector modulated 3φ-3φ Matrix Converter with bidirectional switches for AC motor is presented.This control strategy,which employs simultaneous output-voltage and input-current space vector mod- ulation,can regulate the input/output sinusoidal waveforms of matrix converter with unity input power factor anti ensure the good drive performance of induction motor,In order to implement this strategy and deliver the PWM pulses to the appropriate switches,digital signal processor(DSP)and generic array logic(GAL)are used.Simulation and experimental tests verify the practical feasibility of the proposed control scheme.
