With the advent of powerful portable devices that allow people to always stay connected everywhere, there is a growing demand for location-aware services. Location tracking of moving objects or location-aware services (LAS) is becoming increasingly prevalent in numerous aspects of daily life. The ability to collect location data has raised various privacy issues due to the potential for misuse of location data. Privacy concerns may prevent us from developing these advanced spatial technologies to their maximum potential. The work presented here, is part of the CRUMPET project and employs intelligent agents and the use of brokering in order to protect personal privacy within LAS domains.
