2013 marks the 20th anniversary of the global Power Rangers franchise. Within the context of elements of the marketing mix (with particular focus on product, place and promotion), the staying power, phenomenal marketing success and polarizing nature of the franchise are discussed. Furthermore, the circular nature of the franchise is analyzed, as its 20th season, Power Rangers Megaforce, has made a significant return to its roots, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
