Reconfigurability Analysis for a Class of Linear Hybrid Systems

: The reconfigurability regarded as a kind of system’s intrinsic property is discussed for a class of linear hybrid systems based on the controllability concept. An algebraic approach is proposed for the reconfigurability analysis. Some sufficient and necessary computable conditions are derived just based on the manipulation of system matrices. Furthermore, some novel features of fault-tolerant hybrid systems, such as the spatial redundancy and the temporal redundancy induced by this analysis, are also exploited. Finally, the proposed method and results are illustrated by examples.
