Adaptive control: theory and practical aspects

Abstract An a overview of discrete adaptive contollers is given. A unified presentation of the underlying control designs is made and the fundamental properties of the parameter estimations to be used are given. Particular emphasis is put on the design assumptions and several adaptive control applications are reported.
