Operation strategy of stand-alone microgrid

In this paper, based on the situation of micropower sources and local loads, microgrid mathematical models for photovoltaic generation system, lithium battery energy storage system (ESS), vanadium redox flow battery energy storage system, wind power generation system and loads, are established. According to the microgrid electrical topology, energy management strategy of stand-alone microgrid are designed and used as theoretical guidance for microgrid stable operation. Finally, by using PSCAD simulation software, simulation verification is performed for the whole microgrid system models and microgrid system control strategies. The simulation results show that the designed microgrid control strategies can achieve the goal of system stability control, and verify the validity of system control strategies.
