This paper presents experience gained from a probabilistic and sensitivity analysis of soil-structure interaction in the case of high-rise buildings with the Response Surface Method using the ANSYS program. The advantages and drawbacks of the methods Monte Carlo, Importance Sampling, Latin Hypercube Sampling and Response Surface Method are discussed. The possibilities of utilizing the RSM method to analyze the extensive and complicated tasks in Finite Element Method are presented in the case of the CBC high-rise building in Bratislava. This analysis was made based on the design of the optimal system of the structural elements considering the soil-structure interaction. The soil conditions were complicated by aggressive groundwater and problematic ground layers. In accordance with these results, the modification of the structural systems was realized. These analyses were made using the ANSYS program.
