Simple Constrained Bargaining Game

Motivated by the need to solve complex bargaining situations in real life applications, this paper defines a Simple Constrained Bargaining Game, CBG(S), which extends the games that have been tackled in mathematical game theory so far. In the game, the seller is constrained by a cost and the number of days to sell; the buyer is constrained by a utility and the number of days to buy. Neither side knows the opponent's constraints. This is a simple problem from the real life sense, but hard for mathematical analysis. Strategies for tackling this problem have been examined. Some of these strategies, together with a platform for conducting computational experiments in this game, have been implemented. Preliminary results are reported. Components in these strategies are identified to prepare for an evolutionary approach that tackles the Simple Constrained Bargaining Game.
