A High Efficiency Flyback PFC Converter with Secondary Side Resonant Circuit

To improve the problems of low efficiency, high voltage stress for the switch and diode, a secondary side resonant single-stage flyback PFC converter is studied, which can improve efficiency by recycling the energy of the secondary side leakage inductance and alleviate the high voltage stress of the switch and diode. The working mode of the secondary side resonant single-stage flyback PFC converter in DCM is analyzed and the steady state characteristic is studied, and the converter is applied to the LED driver circuit. Finally, the theoretical analysis is verified by experimental results.
