Radiation effects on via coupling in power‐return plane structures

The radiation effect on via coupling in a power-return plane is studied by using the radial waveguide model combined with the spectral-domain immittance (SDI) approach. The time-domain waveform and frequency-domain response are investigated for cases with or without a consideration of the radiation effects. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
