Predication Methods of Residual Service Lifetime for Slewing Bearing Mounted in Ladle Turret

This paper presents the main disabled forms,and discusses the limitations of the current methods in which rating lifetime is calculated and condition at operation is estimated for the large-diameter antifriction bearings.The novel method in which the residual service lifetime of slewing bearing mounted in ladle turret is evaluated by the dynamic abrasion loss is put forward.On the basis of the method,testing and analysis are carried out.The results shows that residual service lifetime is reasonably predicted and the method is valid.
