A new interferometric ISAR image processing method for 3-D image reconstruction

A new interferometric inverse synthetic aperture radar (InlSAR) image processing method for 3-D image reconstruction is proposed. By using the signature data acquired from three antennae located at three vertexes of a right-angled triangle, two joint cross time-frequency distribution images for each range cell can be constructed correspondingly along two mutual-vertical interferometric baseline directions. Then a 3-D image of the target can be reconstructed directly from all range cells' joint cross time-frequency distribution images. This method is suitable for not only uniformly rotating targets, but also constant accelerating rotating targets. The simulation results show that this proposed method is validity for 3-D image reconstruction.
