Double-threshold selective PIC receiver for CDMA communications in multipath fading channel

This paper deals with a multiuser cancellation detection scheme for DS/CDMA communication systems where the BPSK modulation technique is used in transmission. The proposed detector, named double-threshold selective parallel interference cancellation (DTS-PIC), divide users according to their reliability in three groups and perform groupwise interference reconstruction and cancellation. The case of asynchronous users in a multipath fading channel is mainly considered. In particular, it is shown here that the DTS-PIC receiver exhibits a good behavior in comparison with previously proposed alternatives.
