EPON multi-rate universal transmission equipment

The invention provides an EPON multi-rate universal transmission equipment which can support an optical line terminal (OLT) of 10G and an optical module of an optical network unit (ONU) of 10G and also can combine the ONU of 1G and the OLT optical module of 1G, wherein the ONU of 10G and the OLT optical module of 10G adopt an XFP interface, and the ONU of 1G and the OLT optical module of 1G adoptan SFF interface mode. The universal transmission equipment and a back-end EPON control chip (or an FPGA) both adopt a unitive SMA interface mode. The invention considers the step-by-step generation of the upgrade from the EPON of 1G to the EPON of 10G fully, can combine the subsequent EPON of 10G and the prior EPON of 1G and has very good application prospect.
