The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for forming an image, a terminal device, a print control method, and a computer-readable recording medium. The terminal device according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: a communications interface unit which communicates with the apparatus for forming an image; a searching unit which searches for files stored in a movable storage medium using the communications interface unit when the apparatus for forming an image is connected to the movable storage medium; a print data generating unit which generates print data regarding at least one among the searched files; and a control unit which controls the communications interface unit so that the generated print data is transmitted to the apparatus for forming an image.
