An Analytical Study of Parallel-Plate Heat Exchangers with Insulation Sheet Inserted for Double-Flow Operations
暂无分享,去创建一个
A design of inserting in parallel an insulation sheet with negligible thickness to divide an open duct into two channels for double-flow operations, resulting in substantial improvement in heat transfer, has been designed and investigated. The results are represented graphically and compared with those in a single-flow device (without an inserted insulation sheet). Considerable improvement in heat transfer is obtainable by employing such a double-flow device, in-stead of using the single-flow one. The effect of insulation-sheet location on the enhancement of heat transfer efficiency as well as on the increment of power consumption, has also been discussed.
