Treatment of soft foundation problem in construction of HV power transmission lines

The soft foundation problem is of frequent occurrence when constructing HV power transmission lines in Guangdong Province. In order to control the project cost and quality,this article discusses the necessary treatments adopted in the exploration,design,construction and supervision based on the geological characteristics of soft foundation.
