Research on dual drive synchronization performance based on virtual shaft control strategy

In order to research the influence of the crucial parameters of virtual shaft on the control performance in the virtual shaft synchronization control strategy, the following work has been done in this paper. A virtual shaft synchronization control strategy model is established according to the mechanical master shaft control method. Two key parameters, virtual rotational inertia J and virtual torsional stiffness K, are simulated and analyzed. Moreover, the model is transformed into the block which can be applied in the automatic control software TwinCAT, then the experiment is carried out on a dual drive platform to verify the feasibility of the control strategy and the result of simulation analysis.
