Effectiveness of Parallelization of Solution and Optimization Algorithms Applied to Large-Scale Linear Problems for the WAVES Project

The aim of the WAVES program is to analyze the interactions between availability of water, natural resources and human activities with the purpose of predicting the impact of the variable availability of water in natural and social systems. The final results of these studies can lead to the development of integrated regional models that allow us to understand the dynamics of the ecosystem and serve as a tool to evaluate and propose strategies of sustainable rural development.
