Implementation of a Life-Rescue UWB Bio-Radar Detecting System Based on the Segmented Time-Window

Improved hardware circuit of life-rescue bio-radar was implemented in this paper to achieve the free selection of the segmented time-window.Then the multi-threaded programming techniques were employed to collect the radar echo data through a wireless network.Simultaneously, the signal processing result was revealed on a laptop terminal. The newly established segmented time-window liferescue bio-radar detection system was capable of freely choosing the segmented time-window to carry out a detecting procedure and detecting in a continuous order from front to back in the detection region. The system was superior in terms of detection accuracy and flexibility when compared with the original detection system, and it could be used for rescue operations in complex environments, which greatly improved the efficiency of disaster relief.
