A semantic dictionnary to support multidisciplinary design collaboration in an extended enterprise context

The objective of this paper is to survey the existing methods which may be considered as the potential solutions to solve problems of semantic heterogeneity during the process of the capitalization of the information from the different disciplines and enterprises, in the mechatronic design context. Then after comparing ontological and metamodel-based approaches, we present the solution chosen to meet our objectives.
