The invention discloses a transmission method of position related information, which comprises the step that: a base station transmits position related information of a sub-base station to a terminal to support the access of the terminal to the sub-base station, the switching from the terminal to the sub-base station, the positioning of the terminal to the sub-base station and/or the positioning of the terminal per se. The invention also discloses a transmission system of the position related information, which comprises a transmitting unit for transmitting the position related information of the sub-base station to the terminal. The transmission method and system of the invention are adopted to transmit the position related information so as to guide the access of the terminal to the sub-base station, the switching of the terminal to the sub-base station, the positioning of the terminal to the sub-base station and/or the positioning of the terminal per se, and improve the service quality of the system. The invention also discloses a processing method and a processing system of the position related information; and by adopting the processing method and system of the invention, the terminal processes the position related information to ensure convenient implementation of scanning, and/or switching and/or accessing processing.
