The practice and application of problem-based learning in talents education

Problem-based learning(PBL)is a novel teaching pattern characterized by key problems and aimed to train the abilities of innovated thinking.To investigate recent progresses in PBL,papers published in the scholar databases both at home and overseas were searched and analyzed.The results presented here indicate that the applications of PBL have been extended from medical education to multiple areas and played increasing roles in innovated talents education.PBL also exhibited rapid development and application in China high education,extending from the innovation of curriculum to the reform of education patterns.
