This paper presents finite eleme study the buckling capacity of pretwis rectangular solid cross sections. The F conducted using the commercial software samples include bars of 30mm width, 6mm t different lengths of 300mm, 400mm and 500 are griped and embedded in cylindrical slip angles ranging between 30 o and 300° is c length. Before twisting, the simulated steel with the experiments and the AISC Code to v The steel bars are then twisted beyond unloaded to remove elastic recovery, then displacement. The FE simulations showed t twists have positively influenced the axial str performance of the pretwisted bars. Th exhibited by the considerable increase in th loads of the bars for certain angles of twists.
