Kompetensi Mahasiswa Keperawatan Bencana: Tinjauan Literatur

Disasters that are frequent and threaten many people in the world, demand the need to prepare for disaster nurses. Nurses in the medical staff who have contributed greatly to the handling and care of disaster victims. Nursing students need to be prepared to meet these needs. Thus, nursing students must have a good perception of basic competencies in providing emergency responses when a disaster occurs. The author intends to conduct an integrated study with the aim of reviewing the competencies needed as prospective health workers in responding to disaster emergencies. The method used is Literature Review by using keywords disaster nursing competence dan nursing student. Articles are obtained from the data base, namely: PubMed, Sciencedirect, CINAHL, Sagebud, and Garuda also gray literature. The inclusion criteria for articles in English and Indonesian for the year 2010-2020 were then analyzed using a descriptive approach. Competencies in improving nursing responses in nursing students include the need to disseminate increased knowledge and skills, and disaster nursing attitudes. The core competencies that must be possessed by nursing students include attitude, assessment, supply, management, and professional development of disaster nursing.
