New developments in mixed bipolar/CMOS/DMOS technology for intelligent power applications

Describes recent developments in BCD technology, presenting examples of the current state of the art and explaining the trends in smart power IC design. One of the examples is a new standard IC-a dual bridge for motor driving-which is explained at the circuit level; another is an example of the very high complexity smart power ICs that BCD technology makes possible.
