A flexible method of LUT indexing in digital predistortion linearization of RF power amplifiers

A new method of lookup table (LUT) indexing for use in the RF power amplifier linearization with digital predistortion is presented. In this method the density of table entries in a specified amplitude region, is proportional to the amplifier nonlinearity in that region. This method is simple, flexible, and adaptive. Simulation results show considerable improvement of Adjacent Channel Interference (ACI) compared to the conventional indexing with the amplitude method.
