Noncooperative Game Theory

Noncooperative game theory is, roughly, the mathematical theory of conflict. In this article its main ideas, concepts, and results are presented. Special focus is on the distinction between games of complete and incomplete information. Furthermore, attention is paid to some applications in actuarial sciences, namely adverse selection and moral hazard. Keywords: game theory; strategy; information; equilibrium
