In orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing systems,channel state information is essential for coherent demodulation.The accuracy of channel estimation would be degraded by intercarrier interference(ICI) caused by time-varying character.For time-varying channels,a new channel estimation method based on eigenvalue decomposition was proposed,and a new pilot pattern was also designed.By exploiting the time and frequency correlations of channel taps,the frequency-domain channel matrix can be decomposed by a sum of its eigenvector,then the coefficients were estimated by using a Bayesian model.Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed channel estimation method in rapidly time-varying scenarios against ICI.
